Baptism

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

—Jesus (in Matthew 28:19)

What Is Baptism?

Baptism is a beautiful illustration of the spiritual death and resurrection of the believer who has died to their sin and been resurrected to new life through their faith in Jesus Christ. It is also an opportunity for the believer to make a public profession of his or her faith in Christ, through which both personal and community benefits are received.

Who Should Get Baptized?

The Bible tells us that when a person makes a credible profession of faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior, the next step they should take in obedience to him is to be baptized. If you are considering being baptized as a public profession of your faith in Jesus, we would love to hear from you to help you take your next step!

Not sure if you should get baptized yet? We would still love to answer any questions you may have and help you explore what it could mean to trust and follow Jesus.

When Can I Get Baptized?

We celebrate baptisms a few times a year. They typically take place right after our normal Sunday gathering and are a time of celebration for the whole church family. If you are considering being baptized, or if you have any questions regarding baptism, please get in touch with us as we’d love to chat with you!
