Membership Matters

In 1 Corinthians 12:27, Paul wrote to the church at Corinth, “Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.”
One of the first steps in being a faithful follower of Jesus is to become a vital member of a local church body. Here at KXC, we take membership in the church seriously. That’s because we believe the church is called “the body of Christ” in the Bible for a reason – we are to be vitally and consciously committed to one another as fellow believers in Jesus, promising to share in one another’s joys, to bear each others’ burdens and sorrows, to connect in authentic community as we seek to follow Jesus together.
